American actor, comedian, producer, rapper, and songwriter Will Smith rose to fame as rapper with name "The Fresh Prince”. His fame increased spectacularly when he starred in the famous TV series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” which ran from 1990-1996 on NBC. After the end of this series Will moved to film and eventually starred in many blockbuster movies including "Men in Black”, "Independence Day”, "Hitch”, "Bad Boys”, "Ali” and "I Am Legend”. His debut solo album titled Big Willie Style (1997) sold more than 10 million copies globally.

Will Smith is son of Caroline (Bright) and Willard Carroll Smith. His mother is school board administrator in Philadelphia and his father is a senior refrigeration engineer. At the age of 13, Will’s parents were separated. Smith has three siblings named Pamela, Harry and Ellen. Will Smith studied at the prominent Julia Reynolds Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School (Philadelphia). He also studied at Catholic school and public Overbrook HS. .
Will Made a personal and informal agreement with his father that if his career doesn't work out in one year the way he wish he will go back to college. Smith commenced as the MC of the hip-hop duet with his childhood pal Jeffrey under the name DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. They earned critical applause and bagged the first Grammy award in 1988 in Rap category.
