The actress, model and activist Emma Watson played remarkable role of Hermione Granger in the incredibly successful Harry Potter film series. Emma auditioned eight times for the role of Hermione Granger at the age of nine. The Harry Potter film franchise would make her an international celebrity. After the end of Harry Potter series in which she was committed for a decade, Emma has became a famous adult model and appeared in the well-known movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), This Is the End (2013), Noah (2014), and My Week with Marilyn (2011). Emma Watson is daughter of English parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both are British lawyers. At the time of Emma's birth, her parents were living in Paris and they named their daughter after her paternal grandmother Freda Emma Duerre. Until the age of five Watson lived in France. Then her family returned to England. She studied at The Dragon School (September 1995 - July 2001) which is a renowned preparatory school in Oxford. She then enrolled at the Headington School (September 2001- July 2006) which is a private all-girls school. On 2014, she graduated from Brown University in English Literature. Her parents separated in 1995 and both have remarried. Through her father's remarriage, she has a younger half-brother Toby and twin half-sisters Lucy and Nina. Identical twin half-sisters Lucy and Nina did the younger version of her role Pauline in Ballet Shoes (2007). On her mother’s side she also has two stepbrothers.
Watson was the student of the Stagecoach Theatre Arts School at Oxford where she studied singing, acting and dancing and also took part in school plays. She won a poetry competition at age 7. She recited James Reeves' "The Sea". After that her natural perception for performing arts came out. Her theater teachers recommended her to casting agents. They are looking to cast for the role of Hermione for the Harry Potter series. Watson auditioned eight times and started acting professionally.
